The Learning Objects (OA) are structures of content, defined as any digital resource that can be reused to facilitate learning . The learning Objets
include pictures, photos, audio and video files, animations, Web applications, etc.
These can be grouped and stored in OA repositories.
The intention with OA, is standardized, so it can be used repeatedly in other courses, despite being different, they have this need for training or common themes within them. To expand the topic I leave this link
Features:
Accessibility, Reusability, Interoperability, Flexibility, portability, flexibility, modularity, granularity, duration, are modifiable and other property they have is great adaptability of materials, either to meet the particular needs of students as well as for reuse in new projects.
Accessibility: the OA are often accessible from a remote location and delivered to many other places.
Interoperability: while an OA is transferred from a CMS (content management system) to another object's integrity must be preserved.
Then, using a model of interoperability to build an OA is an important factor to consider.
Adaptability: ensures that the OA is perfectly adapted to individual and situational needs. Reusability
: OA a well designed should allow users to incorporate multiple esfurezo aplicacones without much additional .
Durability: the OA still work even if the bases of technology
change, without having to redesign or recode the OA.
Granularity: relates to how we choose to keep our OA.La rigorously in an OA unit may be a program, module, course, a lesson, etc.
In general a higher level of granularity will promote the reuse of OA, allowing its use in multiple contexts.
Scalability: a combined OR to an existing or new, or existing ones or new ones can go up another or others of greater complexity or entity. You can expand

OA repositories:
A repository is a virtual store, a virtual library that can store OA
quickly facilitate searching, locating and allowing any registered user can expand, modify and reuse.
For this to be achieved, the OA must be labeled in
so they can be easily identified.
Different programs or packages that allow etiquetado.Entre them is the SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model).
